The wedding was a big fancy affair. So much food and drink. I ate and drank my way through most of it. I am a compulsive eater. Put me in a social situation where I feel out of my element and I will get into my element (food and drink). Yesterday Dave and I went to a baby shower for one of his nieces down in Pittsburgh. Spring is in full cycle down there - just 60 miles south of us. Flowering dogwood, magnolias, daffodils, intensely blue hyacinths. I loved it. After contacting the reunion committee last night to say I want to go, this morning I see they already want me to do something - help them make a new photo collage. They want me to come to the next planning meeting. No no no! What have I done?
